Croome by Night
Following the popular Croome Capability Canter, the Black Pear Joggers will be returning on Monday, 10th August 2026 at 6:30pm for a fun 6 mile run, with cake and tea/coffee after.
The route
The route follows much of the original Croome Capability Canter route, avoiding the wooded areas, but taking in a section around the lake and over the bridge to the Island Pavilion. The uphill start will be avoided, you may be pleased to know! There are distances to suit everyone, ranging from 3 to 5.8 miles.

Fun night run
The event is not timed and is more of a group run rather than a race, but you are free to run as fast as you like and time the run yourself. Please bring spare clothes/shoes and warm layers to change into after, in case of bad weather. There will be refreshments provided afterwards, and any donations of cake will be welcomed.
Sign up to the event
Entry is only £5. All runners will receive complimentary cake and tea/coffee after. Profits raised from the event will be given to the National Trust to help maintain Croome Park.
